Information about Owain
Having graduated with First Class Honours in Business Management from Cardiff University, I worked for 10 months for the Lord Mayor of London before beginning my teaching career. I have achieved a PGCE with a specialism in Business from UCL (Institute of Education), so have an excellent grounding in how to teach difficult business concepts.
Availability: Wednesday and Thursday after 5PM
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: I have been teaching GCSE (9-1 Edexcel), BTEC (Level 2 and 3) and A Level Business (AQA) at a school in West London for the past 2 years. I have an excellent knowledge and understanding of exam technique and course content at both GCSE and A-Level.
I have been accepted as an AQA A level examiner this year, so have received exam board training on marking scri pts for this specification. Assessment Objectives (AO`s) are standard across all exam boards so I will be able to add value with regards to exam technique across the board at A level and GCSE.
