I am a 36 year old local primary school teacher based in Letchworth. I have a B(ed) in Primary Education with QTS. Currently teaching part time in a Letchworth primary school I am KS1 and KS2 trained with 12 years teaching experience. I have 5 years tutoring experience with a highly successful rate of children achieving level 5 and 6 in SATS papers at Year 6. Recently I have been successful in tutoring pupils at key stage 3 and GCSE in English with fantastic results. Pupils work hard during my lessons but they also smile and laugh a lot! I feel that my calm, confident, gregarious personality and outlook enables pupils to foster and thrive in their learning. When pupils are relaxed and happy they achieve. I am extremely flexible to pupils needs and will follow parents wishes as needed.
As a Mum to an 8 year old boy I am very patient and kind, our household also includes an adopted rescue collie called Bailey, cat called Treetrunk and 3 kittens! I enjoy tutoring as it gives a fantastic sense of achievement and quality seeing pupils thrive to achieve. When I am not teaching I enjoy walks with my dog and family, running a book club, visiting the cinema, yoga and organising fundraising events for our local rugby club which my son attends.
