Christine

As a busy Mum of a two-year-old, spare time is precious. Whilst enjoying an evening in, I like to do some craftwork, in particular cross-stitch and sewing. I like to be creative and learn new crafts and spend time reading about how to start new projects. As outdoor pursuits, I like to go on country walks, visit historic sites and explore new towns and cities.

Availability: I am available weekends and evenings for home tutoring and can accept students at my home or theirs weekdays from 4pm and weekends at any time.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have a degree in English and Creative Writing, a Masters in English Language Teaching and two qualifications in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). I gained one qualification in Beppu, Japan where I lived and studied for four months. The other is a Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA). I have been within the English Language Teaching profession for around twelve years. I taught in Japan as part of my TEFL, I later held a teaching position in Hong Kong for over a year and have held several positions in the UK for various companies, totalling around nine years of experience.
