I’m Abigail - thank you for visiting my page. I am a qualified French and Spanish teacher based in Helens Bay, North Down. I tutor both French and Spanish to GCSE and A Level and the students I have tutored have had great success in their examinations.

Experience: I am a passionate and committed linguist with an honours degree from in Spanish and Portuguese from Queens University Belfast and a distinction in my PGCE from Liverpool Hope University. I have five years experience teaching Spanish and French across primary and secondary schools. I will work with my students to build a framework personal to them, that considers their needs, wellbeing and promotes positive development.  I have a sound understanding of the demands of the A Level specification, with good knowledge of AQA, CCEA and EDUQAS specifications. I specialise in teaching the film element of A2. I employ varying approaches to develop and deliver the best and most effective process possible for student learning. As a result, I have been successful in engaging even the most disillusioned students, ensuring good outcomes for all.
 
I am here to to support and develop my students and help them to acquire skills, explore and flourish. I am diligent, personable, and fair natured and am able to build great relationships with my students to get the best out of them. I hold a full DBS/Access NI check.
