Passionate History tutor.

I am a trained history teacher and have also held pastoral roles including being head of Year 12, Year 13 and supporting students with their university applications. A high proportion of students I supported were offered places at Russell Group Universities and I also supported students applying to Oxbridge and for Medicine.

Able to teach any age group and prepare students for GCSE and A levels for numerous exam boards.

I am currently an examiner for both AQA and OCR and am able to give expert tuition to prepare students for these exam boards as well as others.

I love teaching. The most enjoyable part of any lesson, for me, is supporting my students to use their historical skills to tackle a problem which is on the cusp of what the students find achievable but still enjoyably challenging. All my lessons are carefully planned to ensure that the student is equipped with all the skills they require to tackle challenging problems.
