I have been a private tutor for 25 years. I am married with a son and daughter and live in Stubbington.

I have worked in Agriculture for 3yrs and also been a paramedic for 2yrs before training to become a teacher.

I enjoy modern jazz and play saxophone and guitar.

I lost my first wife to cancer in 2001, but am now happily married to Caroline, a primary school teacher.

I also have two step daughters, one of them having just qualified as a doctor and the other is a teaching assistant.

I have been teaching pupils aged 5 to 18yrs in English,Maths and Sciences.

I help with a youth group at my local Church.

Availability:





Mondays 4 till 6.30pm

Tuesdays,Wednesdays and Thursdays 4 till 6pm.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I taught English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at Crookhorn
Community College for 15 years.

My students rated me very highly as a teacher and were very keen to learn.

Many students have been predicted a D or E grade in Maths and Science, but I managed to raise their grades to C`s and B`s. Several students have achieved grade A. Some have become Maths teachers themselves.I enjoy tutoring as I can meet
the needs of students and concentrate on areas of difficulty.
