Information about Dawn
I specialise in Figurative work which include`s portraiture and animals.I am also able to help students with landscape and plants .I have recently worked on a number of private commissions capturing clients with their pets in oil.I have taken part in The Portraits for Hero initiative started by Tom Croft last year on Instagram in which artist painted an portrait of an NHS worker for free.
I have a good knowledge of all mediums, involving painting and drawing.I also have a solid knowledge of History of Art and the various styles of art movements throughout the centuries.
I can assist with portfolio preparation and applications for foundation and BA courses.
I can also help with improving drawing techniques.
I can provide one to one or group tuition.
Availability: Available during the week. Please let me know your requirements.I can work some weekends.

Dawn has only recently started tutoring my son (14 years old) and my daughter (11 years old). Both returned from their individual lessons with beautiful, skilful pieces of artwork they produced; and both are eager for their next lesson. When questioned further by me, both spoke with smiles on their faces and were pleasantly shocked at how much they had achieved and the skills they acquired. Dawn is an incredibly talented artist and her work is visible throughout her studio to inspire my children, but most importantly she is an exceptionally motivational, skilful teacher. Her observational skills are finely tuned and within minutes she could identify my children’s strengths and area requiring improvement. Almost immediately she put an action plan in place. Both my children will continue their tuition with Dawn for the foreseeable future and I highly recommend her. Thank you Dawn for giving my children their artistic mojo.
