Information about Sue
I am a qualified secondary school French teacher with over 30 years’ experience teaching students aged 11-16 with AQA. I have a proven track record of success at GCSE. Over the last 4 years, students I tutored achieved at least 2 grades higher than when they started. I also support students with school homework and am available for help and guidance outside of lesson time if required.
I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential and am confident that through 1:1 support, I can help students who are finding learning difficult or are lacking in confidence. Tuition is tailored to individual needs.
Availability: Weekdays and weekends during the exam period.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I am very knowledgeable about the AQA exam board and have an extensive range of material to guide students through exams. Many students go on to exceed teacher predicted grades and I am delighted that many have gone on to study languages at University.

Working well with where my daughter is at. Aiming for high level GCSE French. Felt let down by the school, mixed ability class with focus on achieving grade 4/5. Sue has increased her confidence and able to provide insight into how and what to study

Sue is an excellent French tutor, she has a brilliant rapport with my daughter who rated Sue very highly ( better than her French teacher!!) Sue has really gone the extra mile to help my daughter with her preparation for her GCSE. She has gone through and enhanced all her speaking questions and recorded them to help with pronunciation. My daughters writing has improved in the few weeks she had been working with her. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for help with GCSE French
