I am a Science teacher and tutor with over 7 years tutoring experience. I enjoy staying up to date with the latest curricula and exam technique and have in depth knowledge of different exam boards and specifications.
I go above and beyond for all my tutees creating an `open door` policy where my tutees can get in contact with me at any time with any questions or queries.
As a tutor, I make the tutor-tutee relationship a priority. Through building a strong relationship I am able to increase motivation in the subject, boost overall grades and most importantly I can help ease anxiety and increase self-confidence in my students.
Availability: I am currently working part time so am available any time during the day Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well as available after 5pm everyday of the week.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I graduated with a masters degree in physics from the University of Sussex with a focus in Quantum computing.
Following this, I taught science KS3 and KS4 and physics at A level at two different placement schools and have experience with AQA, Edexcel and OCR exam boards as well as Pearson`s applied science BTEC.

We only met Eddie once. That one session was great, however it wasn`t enough to form a solid opinion. No doubt, given time he would be a very good tutor

Edie has been fantastic with my daughter studying for her GCSEs, taking time to explain the topic and then checking that she understands the topic or question, also checking in the day before the lesson to see what she wants to go though, very reliable also!

Eddie is an excellent teacher. He has deep subject matter expertise and makes learning fun. You can see the preparation that goes into his lessons. He uses materials in his lessons to bring science alive. My son loves his lessons and has re-engaged with science. Eddie manages to explain the hard topics in a clear understandable way. I could not recommend him highly enough.
