Information about Bethany
I am an engaging, highly organised and creative practitioner and am able to enthuse students who need stretch and challenge, as well as support and encouragement. I help tutees to set specific, ambitious and achievable goals and to see these through to fruition. I have ample experience working with 9-18 year olds to target their weak areas and work towards personalised goals.
Availability: I have very limited availability at present and am only undertaking online tuition.

Experience: A qualified, experienced teacher of English Language and Literature at GCSE, A Level and IB, I am a graduate of Cambridge University and have PGCE and Masters in English Studies from Sheffield University. I have also worked with second language learners and have TEFL CELTA training.

Beth is a very experienced, friendly and patient tutor who has great in-depth knowledge of the 9-1 English literature and language GCSE course. She sat our child achievable targets with tailored homework of a high standard helping to lift the grades from a 5 to an 8 within a couple of terms. Detailed written feedback on lessons and homework meant our child made good progress and was well prepared to sit the GCSE exams.

A big thank to Beth!
Beth not only helped my son to achieve English GCSE A* last year, this year she also helped my daughter to achieve 11+ Academic Scholarship.
She is a well organized, calm and encouraging teacher. Each lesson was well prepared and brought the main points. My daughter loves her lessons even we had to drive 40 minutes to get there.

Beth is a fantastic tutor, she is very organized and skillful. My son`s English GCSE predict result was 7 initially, after 4 months lessons with her, he made great progress. We have just got my son`s English GCSE result today, English literacy is 9 and English language is 8! Thanks for her hard work and I would highly recommend her.
