Hello all, I`m Kate and I`m studying for a PhD in Chemistry at University College London. I am offering tutoring in Chemistry at GCSE and A Level.

Chemistry often gets a reputation for being difficult, but once you understand the concepts in each topic the exams become achievable. I will help you to do this in your own way - different people need different analogies and explanations. I am patient and enthusiastic and I hope I can build your confidence in Chemistry and even get you to enjoy it!

I did my undergraduate at the University of Bristol and graduated top of my year. I achieved all A*s in Chemistry and Maths at A Level and GCSE.

Availability: I am available weekday evenings from 5 and weekend mornings.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I started 1 to 1 tutoring 2 years ago. I have really enjoyed seeing my tutees grow in confidence and ability, at both GCSE and at A Level.

I also have one year`s professional teaching experience. Before starting my PhD, I taught Year 9 students, with classes of up to 40. I also ran an after school Chemistry club.
