My name is Harry. I`m a graduate from the `Guildhall School of Music and Drama` and I`m currently gigging and teaching in London. I have been lucky enough to study with some of the top professors and performers in the world whilst studying at Conservatoire, and I`m keen to pass on my knowledge to others who want to learn.

I am fortunate enough to have been a winner of the `BBC Young Composers competition (2014)` and have performed a world famous venues like `Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club`, `The Sage` (Gateshead) and `Bridgewater Hall` (Manchester).

With me, you can expect:

Experience: I`ve been a private trumpet teacher for over 3 years teaching a range of ages and abilities, from complete beginners to more advanced students. This experience has allowed me to a adapt my teaching to each student, which has gained immediate results from students: one student (9 years old) started the trumpet 24 months ago and has been accepted in the ‘National Children’s Orchestra’ and will be sitting her grade 5 exam this winter. She passed her grade 1 with distinction after 9 months of learning the trumpet. I am passionate about the processes of learning and teach a methodical approach to the trumpet that supports the development of good technique and musicality.

Since January 2019, I have taught trumpet at ‘World Heartbeat Music Academy’ in Wandsworth on Monday evenings – whilst doing this, I have been able to teach on a 1-2-1 basis as well as groups of up to 16 children!
