I am a highly qualified and experienced maths tutor building students confidence and making maths enjoyable. I am passionate about making a significant impact in all my students education, doing my best to achieve and exceed their target grades.
I build positive relationships with my students and always provide feedback to parents on how their child is progressing.
I have a DBS to ensure your child is safe during my tutoring sesssions.

My tutoring is customised to the individual needs of the student. I have well planned and structured lessons that keep students engaged and put in a lot of effort for each of my students to maximise their learning with the time spent in each lesson. I increase students confidence in maths by making maths simple and enjoyable!

Experience: I have been tutoring for nearly 3 years now, both online and in person. I have developed a wealth of experience, tutoring a wide range of ability and level. Ranging from KS2 mathematics all the way up to degree level Econometrics. I have tutored students who are both struggling to gain a pass-grade and those aspiring for A*s/9s. My proudest achievement to date is helping an "E-grade" mathematics GCSE student achieve a C-grade pass. This allowed him to go on to A-levels and ultimately university. It`s these kind of moments that make the job rewarding and why I have so much passion and enthusiasm for it.

My teaching technique is simple. Make the content applicable and interesting so that students unerstand it. Then hone in on repitive action and practise, delivering effective feedback at every point possible to optimise learning. Aristotle once said: "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence therefore is not an act, but a habit". Through my teaching techniques, I believe, given enough time, I can help any student achieve any grade they want.
