I am enthusiastic, gregarious, trustworthy and dedicated.
My French qualification is Brevet de Technicien Supérieur, Option Secrétariat Trilingue. It is the equivalent to a HND level 4 to be a Director`s PA with languages. The subjects I passed were commercial English, commercial German, commercial French, economy, business studies and law.

Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have always had a passion for languages.
I was just over 14 when I passed an English exam just for fun outside school context. It was organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. I was really proud of myself, especially because all the other candidates were adults.
Since then, my love for languages has never ceased.
At school I also learnt German and Italian and in my free time I was teaching English to a French girl.
As an adult, I worked for 18 years in my home country as a PA at executive level in international companies. I have never worked for a French company to make sure I would practise my languages.
Then, I moved to the UK in 1999.
Shortly after settling here, I was taken on in a secondary school where I worked for 10 years in the Modern Foreign Languages Department.
I have taught all classes, from Y7 to Y11 on a one to one basis, in small groups or in charge of a full class.
I was also testing, assessing and grading students on all four skills.
Amongst other things, I tailored French lessons for a Y9 Gifted and Talented student who had never studied French before, teaching him twice a week for six months, in order for him to catch up with the rest of his class.
I offered support and advice on students coursework (in English and MFL).
For Y10s and 11s I produced a full booklet of questions in accordance with the topics in both the French and German textbooks.
I also suggested two types of answers, one for the majority of the class, another one for the most able.
I taught French grammar to top sets Y11.
During Easter holidays I held sessions of French revision classes for Y11s.
I was also very active at primary level.
I was in charge of Y6 classes coming to secondary school for induction days where I delivered one lesson in French and one in Italian.
I also run two French Clubs in a primary school for Y2`s and Y6s children where I was introducing French through games and songs.
Teaching is about communicating, making the lesson interesting and encouraging the student.
This is why I adapt my teaching to the students, help them gain confidence and improve their linguistic skills in order to achieve their goals.
