Fully qualified, experienced English teacher. Has held positions as Head of KS4, Second in Department, Assistant Head of Sixth Form, and Head of Transition. Offering one-to-one sessions from KS3 to GCSE. 1st class honours degree received in English and English literature. Managed an education company post graduation and worked in schools in Australia promoting literacy prior to completing a PGCE. Currently an AQA GCSE examiner, marking and managing other markers.

I have tutored outside of Tutor Hunt the past few years and have had a year gap to have my second child (2022-3).

I can provide regular tailored sessions to meet your child`s needs, and build confidence in the subject. I pride myself on delivering fun and engaging sessions, which are designed to support progress, build confidence, close gaps in learning and challenge my students to advance to the next level. I have a 100% pass success rate with re-sit students. More recent reviews from non-Tutor Hunt tutees can be provided upon request.

All my sessions are designed to meet the requirements of the new national curriculum. Sessions can be delivered online or in a quiet study area within my own home on the outskirts of Willaston (Cheshire).
