- A Level in Sociology - Grade A
- Degree in Criminology and Sociology from the University of Kent (2:1 grade)
- Master’s Degree in Digital Media and Society from Loughborough University (sociology of the online, digital world - 2:1 grade)

Work
- I have one year of experience working as a learning support assistant in a secondary school. I’ve sat in most of the sixth form sociology lessons and I spent nearly a whole year observing experienced teachers teaching A-level sociology from the AQA syllabus at first-hand
- I have also tutored A-level sociology to sixth form students, in-person and online
- I have also supported and tutored students with special educational needs, including autism and ADHD. I have experience in adapting my teaching and resources to suit the needs of the individual
- As well as sociology textbooks, I also have access to PowerPoints used in A-level sociology lessons by teachers.
- I like to tailor my sessions based on the individual needs of the students. This can include working on essay writing, exam practices, learning key content, sociology theorists and critical thinking skills.
- I also like to include some fun activities in my sessions to keep students occupied, especially where students may become disengaged. This includes using Kahoot, other online quizzes and games that are all sociology related. This is a fun way to recall previous topics and a useful tool in learning the names of theorists and key terms.
