Information about Juan Ignacio
Postdoctoral researcher at Aston University with a multidisciplinary science background. I am a PGCert-qualified university teacher and experienced Laboratory Demonstrator. I have taught and tutored for years alongside my studies, and I have a clear, patient, exam-focused teaching approach that builds understanding rather than memorisation.
Availability: fkle
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have extensive teaching experience across a range of ages and levels, from primary school through to undergraduate degree level. I have worked as a Laboratory Demonstrator for the School of Biomedical Sciences throughout my doctoral and postdoctoral work at Aston University, supervising a wide variety of practical sessions, explaining both experimental theory and experimental design, and supporting undergraduate students through technically demanding material. I also hold a PGCert in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education, which formalises this practice against recognised pedagogical standards.
