I have been studying BSc Marine Biology for the last few years with the University of Exeter. I love to be able to share the techniques I used to succeed in GCSE and A Level Biology which I received an A* in for both. I also studied Physics and Maths at A level and therefore am confident to tutor both of these subjects at GCSE level. I believe it is important to be a tutor only for subjects which you have studied a level above.

Availability: Due to covid I am currently furloughed therefore am available at most times unless already booked! All tutoring will be done through zoom or similar platforms!

Experience: I am an A level Biology tutor who is well adapted to work with students who need to build their confidence to succeed. I have recent experience completing my A levels in Maths, Biology and Physics. I mostly self-taught these courses and therefore have a solid understanding of how the system of exams works. I have developed ways to fully understand what is required in exam questions and more efficient exam techniques for both myself and others.

I believe that helping my students to understand what is expected in answers and how mark schemes are structured will help them to gain more marks and ultimately build their confidence to do well in future exams.

I aim to work with my students to build their answers and help guide them through the content to give an alternative approach to what is provided in a school environment.
