Molly

I am a graduate of Harvard University, where I studied Political History & Literature. Currently I am a PhD researcher in European Politics, as well as an A-Level Politics tutor. I am committed to providing world-class, affordable student tutoring.

I have received research fellowships from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), the Harvard Weatherhead Centre for International Affairs and the Harvard Committee on Australian Studies. In 2018, my academic writing was judged to be Highly Commended in the Global Undergraduate Awards (top 10% worldwide).

I attended the Scottish National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music for two years, as well as the University of Melbourne in Australia. I am currently affiliated with the South Coast Doctoral Training Partnership.

Experience: I offer essay-based tutoring in Politics, History and English, in addition other writing-based subjects, from GCSE to University level. Over the past six years I have taught local curriculums in England, Scotland and the United States.

I am also available to consult on university admissions to UK and US universities.

Building trust and mutual respect between a student and a tutor is absolutely critical to achieving sustainable results, which is why I advocate a student-led approach to tutoring. I aim to create an environment in which students feel empowered to ask questions, as well as forming and sharing opinions.

In addition to building knowledge retention, critical analysis and writing skills, I encourage honest student self-evaluations during every session. This allows students to take charge of their learning and ensures that I am providing the most appropriate support. Accordingly, I tailor my lessons and strategies to each individual student.
