I am an experienced History and Politics teacher currently working in a oversubscribed and high achieving school. I have tutored before across a variety of exam boards and as well as a strong content knowledge I believe it is important for students to have an understanding of what their exam board demands. I use a variety of revision and teaching styles designed to bring the best out of the student.

Availability: Monday to Friday evenings and weekends. (I can also be flexible during school holidays and in the lead up to the summer exams where more sessions may be wanted.)

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: I have been teaching for 15 years in both high achieving grammar schools and in mixed comprehensives where students have a range of academic requirements. I teach History at all levels with particular experience in Modern World History at GCSE and EDEXCEL, AQA and OCR exam boards at A level. I also teach A level Government and Politics and have a real passion for this subject. I am a trained examiner in both History and Politics at A level. I have been graded outstanding in observations with OFSTED. I have tutored in both History and Politics for many years with references I can provide from students happy with our sessions and their resulting exam achievements.
