Melanie

Melanie is a lecturer in A Level Biology at an Ofsted `outstanding sixth form college in Lancashire. In addition to 20 years teaching experience, Melanie is an examiner for a leading uk exam board. She specialises as a Team Leader Examiner for A Level Paper 3 (the essay paper). This is a vital section of the Biology A Level where, with the right guidance, students can achieve vastly improved marks.

Melanie has also been a private tutor for 9 years offering both small group tuition and 1-to-1 sessions. Melanie`s sessions are exam focused, ensuring that her students can achieve the best results possible. All sessions are now conducted via Zoom.

In addition to online sessions, Melanie can provide regular, marked homework and online support throughout the week.

As a sixth form lecturer, Melanie has consistently produced grades well above the national average. For example, in the last four years, Melanie`s results at A Level have been in the top 10% nationally in 3 years and in the top 1% in the other year. As a private tutor, Melanie has consistently helped her students achieve an average of 2 grade improvements.

Melanie`s services are tailored to the needs of each student with one-to-one sessions starting at £55 per hour for A level and £45 for GCSE.
