I am a fully qualified teacher with over 36 years experience, mainly at GCSE level. I left my last teaching post in August 2015, having taught at the same school for 21 years. I am a parent of 3 children (the younger two are both in their second year of university)so fully understand the exam pressures faced by this generation of teenagers.
Availability: Afternoon and evenings Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
I usually tutor from my home but am willing to travel. If a lesson can be fitted into my timetable, I would need to charge something towards my travel time, usually 50% of an hour, as travelling reduces my availability to teach.
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: I first qualified as a Maths teacher in 1981 and have taught mainly at senior school GCSE level, but have some experience of tutoring at primary level particularly for entrance/sats exams.
Annette is a good tutor. She has given my daughter past papers for her to try and has really boosted her confidence in her ability in Maths. She is always punctual and pleasant. I would thoroughly recommend her.

Annette is friendly and puts my son at ease. She has had a few sessions with him now and his confidence is growing all the time. Annette is covering the right topics for GCSE and my son feels he is benefiting from being tutored by Annette.
