Information about Kevin
I have 6 years of experience tutoring a wide variety of people from young teens to adults redoing their various mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, psychology, and sociology qualifications, covering all ability ranges.
I am friendly and personable and used to working with younger people (CRB available on demand).
My rate for A-levels is 20 pounds per hour. However, my rate for GCSEs is 15 pounds per hour.
I am on medication that causes slight drowsiness as a side-effect. Therefore, although rarely so, I may be forced to occasionally delay, re-arrange or cancel a lesson. Consequently, I tend to offer to tutor at another time of convenience, and to do so fore more hours. This ensures that the study objectives for a week or a month have been covered in time, and to prevent us from falling behind our study material`s schedule. I do not see why this should be an issue at all, as plenty of my students have had no problem with this, and we have gone on to achieve amazing things together, as I am sure you will appreciate after a short read through my feedback from past and present students.
I can only tutor at my parents` residence, which is where I live (together with my parents and my three younger siblings).
Thank you for reading my profile, I hope to hear from you soon!
Availability: I am available from 7am - 9pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and on some weekdays.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have 6 years of experience teaching GCSE and A-level (i.e., AS-level and A2-level) Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. In addition, I have 5 years of experience teaching A-level (i.e., AS-level and A2-level) Psychology, and Sociology. My most notable achievement was getting a tutee of mine who was aged 14 an A* in A-level Mathematics.
I adapt my teaching to the student and always ensure that the student has a FUN time learning. In addition, one of the central themes to my tutoring style is exam technique. I am a firm believer in exam technique and experience bringing about calmness and ease from stress during examinations.

It`s Monday 12th September today, that`s 1 full week after the first day of the academic year for my son, Alexander. He`s in Year 8 of secondary school this year.
Over the summer holiday break, we employed Kevin to tutor Alexander for GCSE Mathematics. His school teachers have been absolutely amazed at Alexander`s improvement, and say that he is posed to achieve no less than an A* grade this year, despite being aged only 14 at the time that he will be taking the exam!
I`m sure that you can imagine the joy such news brings to our hearts, and can only wish Kevin the very best of success in his life.

Thanks ever so much, Kevin.
Thanks to you my daughter has managed to get an A* in GCSE Mathematics and an A* in GCSE Physics last year, when she was only in year 9 (i.e., aged 14)!
As per your advice, I plan for you to tutor her for AS-level Mathematics this year (i.e., when she is in year 10), as you see her having the potential to achieve at least an A-grade with you!
In addition, we will be utilising your services in order for her to complete her GCSEs in Chemistry and Biology this year, too!
