I’m Christolin , a Maths and Actuarial Science student at the University of Leicester with a strong academic foundation in mathematics and practical experience supporting students through ambassador roles. I am passionate about helping others gain confidence in their learning, and I bring strong communication skills developed through working directly with students, parents, and customers in professional settings. With experience in both academic and customer-facing environments, I am approachable, patient and committed to making learning engaging and understandable for students of all abilities. In my lessons, I build strong foundations, break topics down into clear steps, and use past paper questions to boost exam confidence. I always adapt my approach to suit how each person learns best. I’m also a real people person — I love creating a relaxed, supportive space where pupils feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence at their own pace. Experience: As a Computing & Maths Student Ambassador at the University of Leicester, I regularly support prospective students by explaining mathematical concepts, answering questions clearly and adapting my communication style depending on their level of understanding. Through delivering presentations, one-to-one conversations and problem-solving guidance during drop-in sessions, I have built strong skills in explaining complex ideas in a simple and friendly way. Additionally, my roles in customer service have trained me to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly and build rapport quickly — all of which translate effectively into tutoring, where patience, clarity and encouragement are key to helping students thrive.
