As a Head of Mathematics I am highly skilled in ensuring that children succeed and fulfil their potential in mathematics, using a variety of techniques including games, puzzles, whiteboards to make sure you understand why - not just how! My studies include a BA in Modern Languages (Spanish, French and Chinese), a BSc in Mathematics and Physics, a PGCE in Mathematics and a MA in Education with particular reference to Mathematics.

I have been teaching now for 7 years and I am the Head of Department for Mathematics in a secondary school in London. I have had excellent results and have achieved outstanding in all my lesson observations in the last 4 years.
I can prepare students for key stage 3 assessments, GCSEs and AS levels. However, it is also beneficial to have a tutor to build confidence and enjoy mathematics even more without needing to train specifically for an exam.

Experience: I have taught Key stage 3, 4 and 5 for 7 years. This is years 11-17. Of the Key Stage 5 modules teach Core 1, Core 2 and Mechanics 1. However, I also worked in primary schools when I lived in China and so I am able to teach ages of 7-11.
