Focused on arranging structured lessons to cover weak areas and maximise exam results.
I am a bubbly yet patient person who loves teaching the subjects I enjoyed when I was younger. I feel that a little encouragement goes a long way, and that having more than one way to explain a problem can really help.
I am happy to tutor one-on-one, in a small group, face-to-face or via Zoom.
Availability: Available after 1800 on Weekdays in and around Solihull, or in Birmingham centre after 1700.
Would also consider providing support to students within walking distance of station stops between Birmingham Snow Hill and Solihull.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: First class degree in Chemistry and Environmental Sciences.
A* or A grade A levels in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and A grade AS Level Further Mathematics and Psychology.

Experience supervising children at a riding stables, and helping my younger brother and sister during school. Having tutored a range of ages from 6-16, I now focus on supporting students in the 9-1 GCSE syllabus.

Danielle has started supporting my daughter with GCSE maths this term. I have been really impressed with her organization skills and teaching efforts. My daughter has immensely benefited from the input received and I would therefore recommend Danielle to anyone currently seeking a Maths tutor.

I used Danielle as a Maths tutor for my daughter to ensure she would gain the required GCSE grade for entry into Sixth Form. Danielle tutored my daughter for 18 months - from the start of Year 10 (Sep 2019) to the end of her course in Spring 2021. I wanted my daughter to improve her knowledge and, importantly, her confidence in maths. Danielle has been a fantastic tutor. At the beginning she planned how the tutoring would cover the whole maths GCSE course, but she was also always flexible, and checked to see if there was anything ad-hoc which needing covering - for example, she would change planned work to go over a particular test my daughter had results from. This flexibility was essential later on, as due to COVID, no exams were to take place, but instead a set of assessments. We let Danielle know the subjects to focus on and each week she planned the work for that particular assessment area. My daughter`s maths grades have definitely improved due to Danielle`s tutoring. She is friendly, professional, patient and I would not hesitate to recommend Danielle as a tutor.
