I believe that the best learning happens when students are able to see the benefits of what they are doing, and they are allowed the freedom to explore a topic in order to develop their own understanding, as such I try to adopt a Problem Based Learning strategy wherever possible. I am passionate about education being much more that what is defined in a subject’s curriculum. There are other values, morals, and topics to explore/discuss in order to prepare students for a life in the real world.

Experience: 15 years experience tutoring/teaching various subjects, but now specialing in Maths GCSE. I am also a parent and have a vast amount of experience and a good general knowledge of how the world works. I feel this is a very important attribute to have when dealing with and shaping the minds of young people.
