I am currently teaching KS3 and KS4 science at a secondary school, with biology and chemistry being my subject specialisms. I love teaching science and have a passion for “science at home” too.
I love both the practical and theoretical aspects of science, and love seeing my students enjoying my lessons. I like to think that my passion for science gives my students a passion for science too. I am enthusiastic, friendly and can adapt to students needs.
Availability: I am available most evenings and after school. Depending on location, I am willing to tutor at students homes.

Experience: I have a BSc Biological Science (2:1) degree from Plymouth University and completed my teaching PGCE Secondary Science with Chemistry in 2014. I am in my seventh year of teaching science and love it.

We are glad to have Miss Lia . I really recommend her to anyone wanting help with Science. She was tutoring my son and he is secondary school year 10. From day one she has been very approachable and friendly. From the start Aziz felt at ease with Miss Lia and him teaching skills. Aziz has gained confidence and knowledge with ease. And he has got a high score in the last test. Of course we will start again with her in Sept. Thank you so much Miss Lia.

Committed Tutor who is helping my 15 year old with her GCSE biology course. Lia is able to make sense of the subject in a way that my daughter`s school lessons don`t. Punctual, friendly and polite. Daughter reports she`s a big help. After 3 sessions, all good so far....
