Every student has their own way of learning, I aim to cater for every type of learner by listening and checking understanding throughout the sessions, going at a pace that suits the learner’s needs and customising the session in order to gain optimal results.


Each tutee will receive:

-Customised 1:1 support and coaching in preparation for the Sociology exam

-Revision hand outs and exam papers/mark schemes to aid learning

-Homework assignments and detailed written and verbal feedback

-Revision techniques and memory strategies to help prepare for exams

-Support with organising a revision timetable to help structure time and workload efficiently

-Exam anxiety and stress management techniques (optional)


Students can choose between meeting in a local library, their home or online.

Experience: Enthusiastic about teaching and learning, I have a strong belief that every student is capable of achieving success through guidance, determination and hard work.

I graduated with a 2:1 in Psychology and Sociology Combined (Hons) degree.
During my first year at university, I became a mentor and coach to help other students with the strains and deadlines of their course, here I started to develop strong interpersonal and communication skills and a love of passing knowledge to others.

I then decided to take up a teaching qualification (PGCE) at Middlesex University and have been a teacher of Psychology and Sociology for 5 years. I now regularly tutor, coach and mentor young people with various needs including SEN, EAL and learning difficulties.

There are no boundaries to learning when a student has the appropriate tools to scaffold their knowledge and understanding. I aim to ensure my students feel empowered and have the confidence to use the tools they learn with me and apply them to the exams.

This is why I have been able to successfully help all my students as a friendly and warming relationship is essential in order to establish a trusting and on-going journey to success.
