Frazier

Hello!

My name is Frazier, I am 27 years old and I am a graduate from the University of Bath with a degree in Economics. I have recently moved to Turners Hill having been a tutor in Henley-on-Thames before that.

Over the past year I have tutored several students with varying ability and have been able to help them all surpass their expected grades. I have also recently retired from full-time rowing, having been a member of the Great Britain squad for a number of years. I have experience in effectively managing my timetable allowing me to excel academically and physically simultaneously, something which I have helped my students with, effectively implementing realistic and well-structured revision timetables leading up to their final exams.

I like to think of myself as extremely approachable and my main aim is to build confidence of any pupils that I tutor.

Availability: I am available weekdays anytime from 4PM-9PM but please check with me before booking as I do get booked up very quickly.

Willing to travel: 12 miles

Experience: In the 2015/16 school year, I had a total of 7 tutees in and around the Henley area.
This included three GCSE students, three Key Stage 3 Students and one at Key Stage 2.
In the August GCSE results, my three GCSE tutees achieved;
3 A*`s
1 A
1 B
between them. I was actually most pleased with the B grade as this was a student who`s school told him that the best result he could hope for was a C, and that was best case scenario. He actually ended up close to the A/B boundary! :)

In the 2016/17 year, I had two GCSE students who achieved the following results in the subjects I tutored;
2 A*s (Physics)
1 Level 8 (Maths)
1 Level 7 (Maths)

Last year the students I tutored achieved the best set of results since I have been tutoring, I was really proud of them all! Between them they managed;
4 x Level 9s
3 x Level 8s
1 x Level 6.
