As the head of maths at a secondary school I am passionate and committed to educating children, enabling them to change, create opportunities to flourish and develop self-confidence within themselves. Having the opportunity to witness and be apart of this every day, I consider myself to be extremely fortunate to be working in this field. Teaching young people to become fluent in the fundamentals of maths, solve problems through mathematical application and reason mathematically in an engaging manner is no easy task, but I believe I have the skills needed to enthuse others. I am passionate about children having access to good quality teaching of Mathematics as it is fundamental to young people becoming active citizens.

I have taken 6 children through their Mathematics GCSE, all have come out with grades 5 - 9, and all have made at least two grades in progress over 5 months of Year 11 tuition.

Availability: After 4pm any day of the school week, during school holidays and Sunday`s

Experience: I have completed a Maths A level, have a degree in Sport Science.
Competed my PGCE July 2018 and have a full time position as a Mathematics teacher with a range of classes currently. Currently at Head of Maths at a large Secondary School.

I have taken 4 children through their Mathematics GCSE, all have come out with grades 5 - 9, and all have made at least two grades in progress over 5 months of Year 11 tuition.

I have one KS3 student who has gone from below average to now above average and has moved up a set due to this.
