Information about Sophie
I completed a BA in History (First Class Honours) from the University of Warwick, and an MA in Early Modern History (Distinction) From King`s College London. In March 2014 I completed a PhD in History at King`s College London. During this time I have been a History Tutor for the company Enjoy Education, and I have also been teaching History at university-level for four years (first, second, third years and MA students).
History Topics I have covered are broad ranging - including political, social, economic and cultural History from 1400 to the present. My specialist area of research is social and cultural History from 1500-1800. I have just completed a year Lecturing at the University of Essex, and am currently writing a book for Oxford University Press on the History of Medicine.
Availability: Available weekdays between 10am to 8pm

Experience: I have been teaching History for GCSE, A-level and University students for four years. Topics I have covered are broad ranging: political, social, economic and cultural History from 1400 to the present. This teaching has focused predominantly on British and European History.
Having taught at both school and university level for four years, I have extensive experience helping students understand complex historical topics, develop exceptional course work projects, and work towards gaining excellent exam results. I can also help students with preparation for UCAS or job applications and interviews.
