I am a warm, encouraging teacher with exceptional subject knowledge, having graduated from the University of Oxford with a B.A. Hons in Modern Languages before qualifying as a secondary school teacher (PGCE Modern Languages, UCL Institute of Education).

So far in my career, I have worked as an French, Spanish and English teacher in the grammar and state-funded school systems in London. I now run and teach the Modern Foreign Languages AS & A Level curriculum (French and Spanish) at a large sixth form college in London, so I have extensive experience of both the GCSE and the A Level syllabuses.

Availability: I am currently available weekdays from 1pm.

Experience: I have studied languages and literature in some of the world`s finest institutions, from the University of Oxford to Paris`s École Normale Supérieure, where I was chosen out of all of Oxford`s Modern Languages undergraduates to take part in a prestigious exchange programme. I have lived abroad in France extensively.

Through my own education and my teaching career, I have gained extensive experience of languages, literary and humanities pedagogy and assessment from Key Stage 3 to university, including Oxbridge. My native language is English and I am native speaker level in French and Spanish, with a specialism in French. I galvanise students to reach their full potential in GCSE and A Level French and Spanish; I support the very highest attainers with UCAS applications to Oxford, Cambridge and other Russell Group universities, including preparing them for interview; and I provide a clear, progress-driven approach to support students of any age with their learning in English, French, Spanish, and essay-based subjects.

As a qualified teacher employed and working in schools currently, I can provide a full and recent DBS check. I work with students of all different backgrounds and abilities. Individual circumstances will always be taken into account when agreeing rates.
