Information about Katy
I am a trained high school teacher, however have worked in Primary now for 6 years. I live in Heald Green. My current position as a cover teacher has enabled me to teach in all year groups from Reception through to Year 6. I am warm and enthusiastic. I get the best out of students through fun and engaging strategies. I also have extensive understanding and knowledge of special needs through my experience to date.

Experience: I taught Design and Technology Graphics at high school for 12 years before deciding to change to primary school. I have knowledge of teaching and learning in all year groups. I teach interventions across the school where I currently work which has given me knowledge of teaching higher ability through to special needs.
