Information about Angela
I am a recently retired teacher, married with three grown up children who have all been educated to university standard.
Availability: I am available afternoon/evenings (3:30 - 8:00pm) Monday to Thursday. Lessons are face to face in student’s home and ideally no more than five miles from my base.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I am a qualified teacher with forty years experience in English and SEN support. I have worked most recently in the independent sector but also have a great deal of experience in the state sector. I have worked as a Head of English, Deputy Head and SENDCo in the past. I mark Literature for GCSE exam board CIE but have taught AQA and OCR in both English Language and Literature.
I am also a qualified teacher of pupils with special educational needs and for the past six years have run a successful SEN department in an independent school.
