Welcome learners! I am a passionate, hardworking individual that seeks to support ALL through an approach that is fun, creative, rigorous, and appropriate.
With many of my students achieving grades 8/9 it is an approach that has a proven track record. Sessions that I deliver will help YOU retain key terms, definitions, and vocabulary, but more importantly will enable you to apply this information during examinations.
I utilise many props in my sessions to support learning and provide an abundant of helpful resources that can be used in and out of tutoring sessions.
Experience Summary:
*HEAD OF PE*
GCSE PE, SCIENCE: ANATOMY, BIOLOGY, BIOMECHANICS, BTEC SPORT, PSYCHOLOGY IN SPORT, CHEMISTRY & PHYSICS.
Availability: I’m available from Monday to Friday from 5pm-8.00pm. I am also available Saturday and Sunday. This is my typical availability during term time. During holidays I am incredibly flexible and am willing to accommodate the dates/times that best suit you.
Willing to travel: 12 miles
Experience: The current position I hold is a head of PE role in a British Premium school in Dubai (age range 2-16). I have 10 years experience in both the state and private sector and have taught GCSE PE, SCIENCE: ANATOMY, BIOLOGY, BIOMECHANICS, BTEC SPORT, PSYCHOLOGY IN SPORT, CHEMISTRY & PHYSICS for the last 8 years. I have experience teaching through Edexcel, OCR and AQA, where a majority of my experience lies. For your information AQA covers the largest range of content of the 3 examination boards.

Excellent GCSE PE tutor who helped my son prepare for his final exams and significantly improve his final grade. My son had missed a lot of school in year 10 so Mark worked with him to identify gaps and prioritise key areas of learning. Mark ensured the lessons were interesting, relevant and interactive to help my son stay engaged and focused. Mark has a really kind, understanding and encouraging manner which helped improve my son`s confidence and work ethic. He was also flexible with late starts and late minute changes which was hugely appreciated. Highly recommend.

Mark is an excellent tutor. He is bright, charming, reliable and conscientious. He is very thorough with the topics on the subject.
