I`m a 29 year old scientist, who holds a BSc in Biotechnology and MSc in Biochemsitry, which I obtained in Germany and Scotland. Therefore, I am confident to help tutor Biology and Chemistry up to A level and basic-levels in Mathematics, Statistics and Physics.

I recently completed my PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Groningen (NL), where I have also been teaching for the last 5 years. Sharing my knowledge and own experiences on how biology influences our daily life is a fantastic way to engage students. I am a very patient and motivating teacher and enjoy identifying student`s strength and guide and motivate them accordingly.

I am native German speaker, but am also fluent in English and Dutch.

In my free time, I like to share my passion for science and regularily share historically important microbiology events on Twitter. I also love being outdoors and explore nature by hiking and climbing.

Experience: I have taught practical courses and lectures in Biology and Chemistry for more than 5 years. For me teaching does not only involve sharing my knowledge, but also motivating and inspiring others and I am experienced in working with a wide range of students (age range of 17-23) and adapt my teaching style accordingly.
