Information about James
Hello I`m James and I discovered my passion for teaching when I was 12 years old and I have never looked back!
I grew up in Essex and graduated from university in Bristol with a mathematics degree, and now I am currently a maths teacher in Bristol. My passions in life are football, mathematics, and of course, teaching!
Availability: I am available on evenings and weekends.
Willing to travel: 4 miles
Experience: Throughout my life I have taken every opportunity I can with regards to teaching. Starting from my secondary school work experience in a primary school, to my days as a student ambassador within my university. I strongly feel that I can make a positive difference to the education of young people, and help them grow into the people they were destined to be.
I am now teaching full time in Bristol and loving every minute

James has been tutoring my daughter in A-Level maths for the past few weeks. We were pleased that James was happy to provide face to face teaching at our home, as many tutors seem to only offer online lessons, which our daughter doesn`t find as helpful. He is very reliable, professional and enthusiatic. He is patient and always willing to go back over topics until they are fully understood. He managed to explain a topic that my daughter was struggling with, so that she now understands it. He has also helped her to consolidate her previous maths knowledge which will hopefully give her confidence in the exams. I am happy to recommend James as a tutor.
