I am an ex Aircraft Mechanic and studied for my Maths degree with the Open University while working full time. I started teacher training in September, having previously volunteered with youth organisations.

I have worked in Germany as an AuPair and speak reasonably good German. I also have Level 1 BSL, and some knowledge of Makaton.

Availability: Preferably Saturdays any time but I am also available Sundays and between 7pm and 9pm on weekdays.

Current booked 11am-12pm Saturdays

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have tutored my younger cousins in Maths (KS3) over school holidays and helped colleagues understand KS4 equivalent maths.

I volunteered with Girl Guides and the Air Cadets, teaching various things from surface heat transfer (by making ice cream), aerodynamics and thrust (rocket car races), map reading, team work and ironing.

I have been tutoring a girl transitioning from KS2 into KS3 and I am currently workingn in a school as a trainee maths teacher.
