Information about Diego
Hello! My name is Diego, and I am a Spanish teacher from Madrid, Spain. I love to teach, and I also love my language. My hobbies are cooking, listening to music, watching TV shows, reading, going to art galleries and learning languages. I speak English and French, but I have also received some lessons of Italian, Portuguese, Catalan, Dutch, German and Arabic (I really enjoyed learning how to write with that beautiful calligraphy), so I really know how you are feeling when learning a new language.
I try to make my lessons entertaining and really useful, creating an open and relaxed atmosphere where mistakes are not a problem, but just a natural and necessary part of the process. We will focus on practicing your Spanish, always keeping in mind that a good grammar basis is really helpful.
Availability: Monday to Friday, wide availability.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I am a graduated in Spanish Language and Literature, and I have also completed the Spanish as a Foreign Language Training Program from International House Madrid, which is one of the most prestigious training centers for Spanish teachers. I am as well an accredited examiner from Instituto Cervantes.
I have been a Spanish teacher for teenagers in a language academy in Brussels and I also have been teaching Spanish to refugees and immigrant people in a NGO from Madrid. I currently teach Spanish as a freelance in London, both private and in-company lessons.

Diego was a fantastic tutor! His teaching style is very practical and fun, whilst instilling good grammar fundamentals at the same time - he`s also a very approachable person who is a joy to spend time with. I made major improvements whilst studying with Diego and it has set me up to continue my learning in Spanish with confidence and enjoyment.
