I am a very friendly, reliable and punctual tutor. I enjoy helping build students confidence when approaching problems, helping them gain independence and problem solving skills.
I recently completed my PhD in `Superalloy Development` at Imperial College which was completed in collaboration with Rolls-Royce plc. on new gas turbine engine materials. My technical area is materials/metallurgy which is a unique blend of maths, chemistry and physics.
Availability: Fully flexible. The only time I can`t do is Friday 12-6pm.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have tutored Maths GCSE since I was 16.
More recently I have taught a number of Undergraduate courses at Imperial College London, including skills based and tutorial style. From this I have learnt how markers grade work and what they look for.
I can also offer help with writing style and personal statements as I have had extensive practice at both.
