My Name is Lora and I`m a current primary teacher at a very well established primary school. I love teaching and working with Children and am tutoring to support those children who need that little bit of extra confidence or support to ensure they can reach their potential!

Tutoring Approach:
My approach is MAKE LEARNING FUN, TRY YOUR BEST and MAKE PROGRESS! I work with children based on their own abilities in a subject and make it fun for them. After being in school all day, many children switch off and find it difficult to concentrate on school work at home. So I try to make my sessions based on what the child is interested in and tailor what they need to practise or learn so that it`s fun. I use technology, practical games, as well as traditional pen and paper methods throughout my sessions. I aim to encourage the child to become confident and self motivated so they will continue their learning and hard work outside of my sessions as well. I can also support parents with how to work with their child at home e.g. tips for reading, spelling and maths practise.

Experience: I have worked as a Primary School Teacher in Reception (Age 4-5) and Year 3 (Age 6-7) for the past 8 years but have taught and worked with all ages from 3-11 across the school. I teach all subjects in the primary curriculum and have extensive knowledge and experience teaching reading, phonics, writing, primary maths as well as ICT subjects.
