Hi , I`m Laila, I`m a part time Science teacher currently working for a high achieving school in my local area. I am new to Tutorhunt but not new to online teaching or home tutoring .
I have a passion for helping students on a one-to-one basis. I am adept at finding out pupils
concerns along with their strengths and weaknesses, so that we can work together to make sure they can perform to their best abilities. Confidence is key for students, so I try to help them improve their subject knowledge which usually leads to an increase in confidence as they learn to master answering more difficult questions. It is rewarding to see how individual help can lead to improvements, and in enjoying learning too!
Please note at this point in time due to the number of students I tutor privately I can now only offer face to face tutoring .

Availability: Now that our new school term has started , I am available on some evenings and at the weekend.

Experience: I have been teaching Science for the last twenty one years and so have a wealth of knowledge and experience of teaching students of varying abilities to achieve their best grades possible. In two of my previous schools, I held the position of Head of Physics. I can teach all three Science subjects, my specialist subject is Physics. I have lots of experience teaching the following:
years 7-9 Chemistry, Physics and Biology. Teaching Years 10-11 GCSE AQA
Higher/Foundation Tier Trilogy and Separate Physics and also Foundation Tier GCSE
Chemistry and Biology. The last five years I have also been teaching BTEC Level 3 RQF
Forensic Science and BTEC Level 3 National Extended certificate Applied Science (Physics module only) .
