Information about Sharif
Arabic and English Tutor for Foreign Speakers
I began my interest in teaching Arabic in 2006 after I was inquired by the Metropolitan Police Service to translate some Arabic text files.
Soon after, I was required to assist the police to incorporate with the Arab community. It was a great experience to be the link and using my Arabic language to translate both ways.
To better myself, I got level three translator/Interpreter (equivalent to MA) from IoL (Institute of Linguist), and level two translator/Interpreter (equivalent to BA) from the MET Police.
Having these qualifications; I was encouraged by my friends to utilise these skills privately.
I found the Arab community thriving to learn English, both males and females from different ages; especially mums who just arrived in the UK. Likewise, I had many ladies and gentlemen who actually desired to learn Arabic.
Throughout these years, I managed to teach Arabic and English to foreign speakers. Also, I expanded my social network and acquired many friends from both sides. I hope you will be one of them.
I had the honor to receive Commemorative Medal for "Safe and Secure London 2012 Olympic Games from PM David Cameron on December 2012.
