I`m an experienced tutor with many years` teaching experience. I combine online and in-person tutoring where suitable. I enjoy working with a range of students and goals: please get in touch if I can help you or your family :)
Availability: I have availability most weekdays after schooltimes, evenings and weekends around existing commitments and childcare.

Experience: I have taught all school ages, across many subjects (particularly English, Welsh 2nd Language and humanities). I have also taught EFL overseas and in a UK college. I now tutor fulltime: mostly English.

My 12-year-old daughter was becoming very shy and withdrawn from school, her grades were falling and she was becoming less willing to get up and attend school. Since Hywel has been coming every week she has significantly improved. Hywel is able to communicate very well with her and engage with her in activities, her attitude towards learning has dramatically improved and her grades are steadily improving. Most importantly, she now never comes home from school so upset she doesn`t want to go back. I would highly recommend Hywel to anyone who is concerned about their youngster in school.

Very happy with Hywel, my 11 year old was initially disinterested in receiving tutoring until she met him, now she`s much more enthusiastic about her own learning.
