Information about Emma
I am currently the head of a high performing Sociology and Health and Social Care department in a secondary school.
I graduated with a 2:1 in Sociology with Social Psychology BA Hons from the University of York.
I have a creative teaching style to help students remember content, and really engage with more difficult concepts and ideas.
I have also been an examiner for 3 years so have a deep understanding of what the exam boards require, I have also been regularly graded outstanding in my teaching practice.
I have experience of supporting students on a 1-2-1 basis and identifying clear strategies to help students progress and overcome issues they have in their studies.
I also teach GCSE psychology and BTEC level 3 health and social care so I am also able to offer these subjects.
Availability: 4pm ons during week days.
