I am currently performing climate change research at the University of Manchester having finished a PhD in applied mathematics 3 years ago. My Undergraduate Masters degree covered a range of applied maths, mechanics, fluid and solid mechanics and statistics modules.

I believe that proficiency in (and my own love of) maths stems from a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and my teaching style focuses on explaining why certain methods work
rather than simply how to calculate the answer.

Availability: I am based in Wilmslow but am happy to travel within north Cheshire or the Greater Manchester area to come meet you. I am very flexible on days and times for tutoring.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: I have taught students at a range of abilities and class sizes from one to one tutoring to large undergraduate classes.
