Information about Tom
Why did the inventor of the television reroute the entire output of the Clydesdale Electric Company into a dustbin full of coaldust? And what does it have to do with chemistry? This is the kind of folklore I weave into my lessons to help inspire students. But I`m not just a story teller. I`m an experienced science teacher and A-level chemistry examiner. I have been teaching science to students aged 11 to 18 since 2010. I have consistently helped motivate students to score one or two grades above their target in GCSEs and A-levels. I can teach biology, chemistry and physics up to GCSE and chemistry and biochemistry at A-level. Not only is my subject knowledge excellent, so is my knowledge of the ways students misunderstand chemistry, and the ways to overcome those problems. I also know exactly what examiners are looking for, because I am one. During our sessions, I will test your understanding of concepts to see if there are any misconceptions in your thinking. I will then help you to overcome any misconceptions and then test your understanding with past paper questions. If you`re worried about doing well in science exams, I can help you improve.
