Working really well with my daughter. Polite and reliable.
With Gildas fantastic tutoring my 15 year old son has moved up to top set in maths. He has far more confidence in the subject. Cant recommend highly enough.
Very disappointed. On my first lesson Gilda turned up one hour late without an apology or explanation. I found her approach to teaching quite poor and although I had booked a 1 1/2 hr lesson I now had to cut it short due to being late and I was still charged full price even though it clearly states that the first lesson is free on the website.
Tutors Response :
First of all,I was not impressed at all with Catherine`s attitude. I stayed for the first lesson 1.5 hours and was going to sort out the payment issue next lesson by refunding her half an hour of the previous lesson. She seemed difficult to work with.I made clear to her I was going to be late on that day due to work commitments. Sorry it didn`t work out.
Very nice and explains things very well and thoroughly. Her passion for maths is clear and refreshing.
Bit disappointed to tell the truth. Seemed a very nice knowledgeable lady and my daughter really jelled with her on tje 1st annd only appointmet but had to re-arrange 3 appointments as there was always something that came up which prevented her from coming, or arriving at the agreed time so in tje end decided to leave it and get someonelse more reliable.
Gilda has been extremely helpful, reliable and made Maths seem more possible for my AS maths son
After having a few sessions, my daughter has already gained confidence and is enjoying maths now. Very impressed.
I am able to ask Manuela anything, and she helps me to interpret the questions. She is supportiive and very easy to get along with. I am really benefiting from having her as a maths tutor.
good tutor, helped alot
My son had one lesson with Manuela and seemed to get on very well.
Based on the first lesson my daughter is making progress. She said that explanation is good and clear and she is learning useful strategies for solving problems.
Gilda is a great teacher - she is a maths magician!
My daughter has had four meetings with Gilda Manuela. She is very professional and my daughter is getting a lot out of each session. She is very reasonably priced and always arrives on time.
So far very pleased!
