I am a second year Barts Medic eager to offer lessons in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and English. Having sat through the process myself and achieved straight A*s and 9s at GCSEs and As at A-levels, I`m well prepared with strategies to help you achieve your goals.

Exams boards that I am familiar with are AQA for sciences and Edexcel for English and Maths. I have experience with the new style GCSE having sat three of them myself. My knowledge is not limited to only these boards and I will still be able to teach effectively if your school is using a different exam board.

I have had a years tutoring experience in at a Tutoring centre where I taught children of all ages from 8-17. My focus, however, was on GCSE English, Maths and Sciences alongside A-Level Biology and Chemistry as these are my strengths.

I teach in a student centred fashion, focussing on building on strengths and improving on weaknesses to build a sturdy foundation. Developing strong exam techniques is going to be our main aim by culminating a toolkit of various skills that can be used to manoeuvre through exams more easily. However, I also encourage students to remain curious and find a purpose in learning about their subject beyond just exams so you can remain motivated to continue your studies.

To do well in any exam it is vital that the student takes responsibility for their learning and I am here to help you to do that. I will discuss a variety of study plans and techniques with you to help you understand what you need to do to boost your grades. These will include revision timetables and structuring your learning around active recall techniques and space-time repetition. These methods are proven to improve performance when used accurately.
